Isís

Hello everyone!

After a few weeks of silence and no posts, I have the pleasure to present you my beautiful Isis!

This is the way she presented to me and I have to confess I was a little bit confused at the beginning... I´ll tell you why: in most of the books and informations on the internet about this beautiful goddess she is presented as a moon goddess... but she came to me with this huge solar power and of course I accepted and I portraied her as she came to me... But anyway I made some research to find more about her conection with the power of the sun... It made all sense to me, I had no doubt what I felt about her energy...

There is an explanation... she really is, today, connected with the moon and this has its roots when Egypt came under Greek rule, Alexander the Great! for the Greeks the Goddesses were all lunar deities, as the moon is connected with feminine power... So this sweet goddess entered the Greek hearts as a lunar deity but... if we travel in time to Egypt again, Isis was connected with star Sirius, this star was said to be her soul and as her worship grew she became connected with the Sun, a central symbol and divine being for Egyptians!

Yes, this made all sense to me, yes her connection with Sirius (a star like the Sun) is very profound... we can feel it!

She is the Goddess of Magic and she is the one that enters our lives to tell us to believe in ourselves, everything is possible and we can do it!!!! Yes we can... like her, we are magical beings and our world is in our hands, we just have to believe in ourselves and then our power is back!

Do it! You can do it! Nothing is impossible, trust! You are magical! - She say to us!

As I was posting this, I was getting on my mail this week´s theme for Inspiration Avenue challenge!!! The theme is Mexico... Well, I feel Isis is so in tune with Mexico´s energies...  You know Isis is a goddess energy or being that was present in Atlantis... After the fall of Atlantis many atlanteans traveled for other lands and kept with them their wisdom. Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Greece... and so many others are the inheritants of this ancient civilization. Isis is there too... she is a sun goddess, maybe with another name... but she is there!

So, here I leave you this beautiful, loving and powerful goddess...

Please feel free to live your comments, I´ll be delighted to hear from you!

Blessings!
